Call Notes Pro Privacy Policy

This policy is related to the Call Notes Pro Android app. Call Notes Pro Cloud has a separate privacy policy.

General Information

We DO NOT have any access to your notes, contacts or call history. We DO NOT collect any notes, contacts, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information. We never share, sell or redistribute your data with anyone.


All your in-app notes are by default stored on the device only, but you could sync them with Call Notes Pro Cloud, Evernote and/or Onenote (please check Notes Sync section of this policy for the details). Contacts notes are stored in the Android address book. Please note that other installed on the device apps, with sufficient permissions (READ_CONTACTS), could read Android address book data and your notes. A lot of users sync their contact data with third-party services, like Google Contacts, in this case, notes could be transferred with the contact details. Please check the corresponding privacy policy of such third-party contact sync service.

Information we collect and why?

We collect only basic non-personally identifiable device analytics data and automatic crash log reporting data via Google Firebase and Microsoft App Center. This information is like OS version, device model, country, app version etc. You could check full list on the Firebase help page. None of this data contains any user personal information like phone numbers, notes or contacts data.

For the analytics and crash reporting services we use Google Firebase and Microsoft App Center. Firebase is GDPR-ready, ISO 27001 and SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 evaluation process completed. Please check Firebase privacy and security policy for the details:

This information helps us to resolve issues/bugs and improve application stability and quality. Crash reports are stored in Google Firebase for the 180 days. Data retention period for the Microsoft App Center is 90 days.

Notes Sync

You could optionally sync your in-app notes with the Call Notes Pro Cloud, Evernote and Onenote services. We use only official API for the sync process. So you sync all data directly from your mobile device to the Call Notes Pro Cloud, Evernote or Onenote servers. No third parties involved.
